Filmmakers ask state for $800,000

State House: A bill would reimburse some of the cost of shooting a movie in Maine.

April 15, 2008

Rep. Janet Mills, D-Farmington, sponsored legislation that would reimburse up to $800,000 in expenses for the movie production. The payments – up to $200,000 a year – would begin in July 2010 and continue for four years.
