Re-enlistment

Post by KSigMason on Mon Jan 07, 2008 8:18 am

Well, I did it. I re-enlisted for 6-more years. By the time I ETS in 2014 I will have 12-years in the Guard; much of it on active duty.

I had fought with the Guard over my bonus, but I finally won out and will be receiving a cool $15,000.00 (taxed of course).

Cool.
thank you for your continued service to freedom loving people around the world, and particularly to Americans.

Hoooaah!!!!

Question: I think you said you finished 'pilot' school for some UAVs. what's your MOS and pay grade? On Conservative Core some were thinking that only Officers could fly them but my info said that noncoms are flying most of them.

Share what you feel comfortable with.

I finished UAV school (which was 96U, now is 35K, and will turn to 15W in Oct). I am still a SPC/E-4, but I'm going to be one of two Instructor/Operators in the State. In the Army enlisted can fly UAVs, while manned aircraft are still left to the Commissioned Officers.
