I was gonna post this on the "an opportunity" post but it got carried into a different direction...

To reiterate some of the other members, I would like to welcome any and all refugees from PU or other forums, and bring your friends !

This site is the offspring of a great forum that got shut down last January.... ironically for similar reasons. Whilst it doesn't boast games, or other advanced features like the original Conservative Life, and to some extent PU did it has some good people, and while we don't always (actually very rarely ) agree the debates tend to be interesting (because at the end of the day debates are no fun if you agree with everything people say) so that's it in a nutshell, happy posting, and drop me a line if you need anything... from here on out i'll try and check out CL on a daily basis.. if i neglected it a lot in the past it was mainly for a lack of posts/posters... and i gotta thank bilbo, the forum vets who responded to him, and now our new members for bringing the debate back.

Ah it feels good to be appreciated. For a while there I thought I could probably rename this forum Socialist Life and got away with it. The more the merrier I say, makes my job of moderating conservative madness a lot easier.
